I quit my job.
I was only 15 months into it, when I knew they quit on me.
So for 43 months, I’ve been working and waiting for this 1 day, that I’d walk away and start working for Me.

There’s no time like the present ❤️✨

“I crave space. It charges my batteries. It helps me breathe. Being around people can be so exhausting, because most of them love to take and barely know how to give - except for a rare few.”— Katie Kacvinsky
Adega Baía da Arruda, Pico Island, Azores
Submitted by Ivo Barão / www.pico.house
It all starts with a trip into the Atlantic to the center of the World, a contemplation space protected against the saltiness of the ocean in between volcanic stone labyrinths, vineyards in raw soil and exotic vegetation.
The construction is located on protected landscape in the township of São João, Pico Island in the Azores archipelago and accessible by a typical Volcanic stone staircase that winds and connects the Ocean throughout the depth of the terroir. Nearby there are several bathing areas and good fishing spots of particular geology from the last eruption in 1718 as well a cheese factory, mini market, bus stop and 2 parking slots. The Island is almost like a boat, it even has its shape, sailing aimlessly and without destiny as of its own accord. The house is more like a cockpit, a stage for the helplessness of the man before this situation.

A track always in my rotations especially on shuffle when I’d be riding the train, heading home from work. I even remember getting clowned by some fellow fans and my cousin when I called the album “Blue Slope Park”!
I remember hearing that “got some soul like de la do “ hook and feeling THAT every time this track was on and especially whenever my soul was low…it spoke to me in a sense of staying true to myself and keeping humble. It was my way of realizing my best asset in the face of any uncertainty, was my spirit. I still feel that.
My last wish.
Play this at the close of my services.
Hopefully no time soon though!
“Nothing but some Deja vu.”
